The weather tried to stop them, but the CHCA boys cross country team proved unstoppable. Battling ankle-deep mud and blustery storms in Deerfield Township, the Eagles dominated the MVC Championships to capture their third straight MVC Team Title.
CHCA stormed past runner-up MVCA with a decisive 26-59 victory.
The individual race was equally impressive, with Nate Gockerman winning his third straight MVC Individual title. Teammates Jagger Dollenmeyer (2nd) and Wyatt Gockerman (3rd) completed the impressive top-three sweep. The team's depth was on full display, with six runners finishing in the top 15 to earn All-MVC honors.
