CHCA Boys Cross Country Dominate 3rd Straight District Title

The #7 CHCA Boys cross country team cemented their status as a district powerhouse, capturing their third consecutive OHSAA District Championship Saturday at Voice of America Park.

The victory was spearheaded by a dominant trio that swept the top spots for the second year in a row: Nate Gockerman (Jr.) successfully defended his individual District Title, followed by Jagger Dollenmeyer (Sr.) and Wyatt Gockerman (Jr.) crossing the line in second and third place, respectively.
Aidan Murphy (8th) and Andrew Lott (12th) produced strong showings as the Eagles posted a commanding 26-41 victory over #15 Madeira.

Nate Gockerman became the first CHCA runner to ever eclipse the 15:00 barrier, running 14:53 for the 5,000m race.  Nate's 14:53 smashes his school record of 15:05 set only 2 weeks earlier.

Six of the team's top seven runners set new personal records, and this specific team now holds the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 16th, and 18th-ranked times on the school's all-time performance list—all from runners currently competing together. The collective effort and consistency reflect a program firing on all cylinders at the most important time of the season.
