Fisher, Roberts, Rooks Gain District Basketball Honors

CHCA closed out an incredible season on Saturday evening, falling to Dayton Meadowdale in the District Championship game, 72-60.  The OHSAA Division III District 16 coaches announced those selected for the All-District Teams.  Three Eagles were among those selected including Jacob Fisher, Weston Roberts and coach Scott Rooks.  
Jacob Fisher, a senior, was named 1st Team All-District Division III.   The 2022 MVC Player of the Year, led CHCA in scoring averaging 15 points per game.  Fisher has been selected as an alternate for the OHSBCA North/South All-Star Game. More details about the game can be found here.

Weston Roberts, a junior, was selected to the 2nd Team All-District.  Roberts was also named 1st team All-MVC.  Weston led the MVC in steals averaging 3.1 per game.  Roberts additionally averaged 14 points and 4 assists per game for the Eagles.
Scott Rooks was named as the District 16 Division III Coach of the Year.  Directing CHCA to a league title in his second season as the head coach.  The Eagles finished the season with a 20-5 and ranked #4 in the NCSAA National Rankings.  Overall, Rooks has a 37-9 record at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in two seasons.   Rooks was also named the 2022 Miami Valley Conference Coach of the Year, after the regular season.
