Coaching Philosophy:
A successful coach must be able to bring out the best in their athletes, on and off the court. You do so by motivating and challenging your players to do more than they ever believed possible. You must guide your players to push themselves not only physically, but mentally as well. Along with challenging and motivating your players, I believe you must also teach your young men the important aspects of competition, which will serve them well beyond their days on the court. You do so by teaching the fundamentals of teamwork and sportsmanship. Even despite a winning record, a coach is not successful unless the players have learned the value of hard work and effort. Once learned, this will no doubt trickle into academics and beyond. It is my belief that athletes are students first and members of an athletic team second. My group of young men will live that motto.
