Eric Hehman

Eric Hehman has served as the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at CHCA for two seasons. He brings with him 27 years of collegiate coaching experience, including 17 years as a head coach.

Hehman’s most recent collegiate position was at Olivet Nazarene University (NAIA), where he became the second-winningest head coach in the program’s history. Hehman revitalized a struggling program that had not achieved a winning season in over a decade, leading the team to six consecutive seasons with a .500 or better record, including his final three seasons with at least seven wins. His tenure was highlighted by an undefeated regular season, a Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Championship, and the program's first playoff berth in more than 20 years. Under his leadership, Olivet Nazarene produced nine NAIA All-Americans and 115 all-conference selections.

Hehman’s extensive coaching career began in 1995 as an assistant at Taylor University (NAIA), where he was a four-year letter winner as a player from 1990-1993. He transitioned to Trinity International University (NAIA) in 1999 as the Offensive Coordinator and earned recognition as the MSFA Midwest Assistant Coach of the Year in 2004. In 2005, Hehman was named Head Football Coach at Greenville College (DIII, Illinois), where he led the team to a Victory Bowl appearance and was named UMAC Southern Division Coach of the Year in 2009. From 2010 to 2015, he served as the Head Coach at Malone University (NAIA, Ohio) before taking the helm at Olivet Nazarene in 2016.
