Andy Dunn has been a member of the CHCA Boys’ Basketball Program for one season, serving as a Varsity Assistant Coach. A renowned shooting expert, he specializes in developing guards and plays an integral role in offensive strategy, system implementation, and player development.
A standout prep athlete, Dunn played at Lakota West High School, where he shot over 40% from three-point range during his career. A three-time All-GMC selection, he earned First-Team All-District honors as a senior and still holds school records for most three-pointers made in a game and in a career. His accomplishments led to his induction into the Lakota Athletic Hall of Fame.
Dunn continued his playing career at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (NAIA), where he maintained an impressive 40% three-point shooting percentage and shot 88% from the free-throw line. He was recognized with the NCCAA Pete Maravich Award, earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention, and holds the MVNU record for most three-pointers in a single season, ranking fifth all-time in program history. Following his sophomore season, he traveled with Athletes in Action, competing internationally in Fiji and New Zealand.
Before joining CHCA, Dunn gained coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, previously coaching freshmen basketball at Lakota West High School and serving on the coaching staff at Cincinnati Christian University.
