Jace Pittser Throws No Hitter in Win Over Reading

Senior Jace Pittser delivered a dominant performance on Monday night, recording a 13-strikeout no-hitter over five innings to lead the Eagles to a 19-0 victory over Reading at Robert G. Gardner Baseball Stadium.

With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-0 on the season, securing victories in both home contests to open the year. In their season opener against Alter, the Eagles earned a 5-4 win in dramatic fashion, as senior Paxton Oney drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off single. Zach Engjurjan was credited with the win on the mound.

The Eagles will face their first road test tonight as they travel to Elder. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
