Boys Claim Second Straight MVC Track & Field Title, Girls Finish Runner-Up

The CHCA boys track and field team delivered a performance for the ages at the MVC (Miami Valley Conference) Track and Field Championships, hosted by CHCA. Earning back to back team titles, the team's dominance was evident as they scored in all but one of the 17 events contested, showcasing their remarkable depth and talent.

A pair of relay teams set the track ablaze, establishing new school and MVC Conference records. The 4x100m team of Cooper Jepson, Alex Wells, John Irwin, and Brayden Mitchum clocked a blistering 43.46 seconds, while the 4x200m team, featuring Cooper Jepson, Alex Wells, John Irwin, and Dylan Sougstad, finished in a stunning 1:30.38.
The CHCA also captured multiple MVC titles in individual and relay events:

The team's exceptional performance is a testament to the leadership of Coach Matt Esche, who was named MVC Men's Coach of the Year.

The CHCA boys track and field team's achievements at the MVC Championships underscore the program's unwavering commitment to excellence.


 


 The CHCA girls track and field team made a strong showing at the MVC (Miami Valley Conference) Track and Field Championships, with several athletes achieving top honors and demonstrating impressive talent. The team was runner-up for the 2nd year in a row.
 
MVC Champions:
Top 3 Finishes: Brooke Gabriel set a new school record in the 800m, and Brilyn Foust in the 200m. Riley Russell defended her discus title.
 
The CHCA girls track and field team's performance at the MVC Championships highlights the dedication and hard work of these athletes.
 
Both boys and girls track and field teams will head to New Richmond starting on Tuesday May 20th for the OHSAA District Championships hosted by New Richmond HS.
