Despite the challenge of replacing their entire varsity outfield and first baseman, the Lady Eagles rose to the occasion. Three sophomores stepped into key roles, along with one senior making her first career varsity start—demonstrating both the program's depth and the players' readiness to contribute at a high level.

The Eagles were rarely tested in conference play, trailing in just one conference game all season—a dramatic 9–6 comeback win over Roger Bacon after entering the seventh inning down 6–3 in their conference opener.
Junior pitcher Kylene Werner has been dominant on the rubber, leading the team with a 7–0 conference record. She holds a 1.47 ERA and has recorded 76 strikeouts in 43 conference innings. Overall, she carries 131 strikeouts on the season.

Offensively, CHCA is led by a trio of underclassmen—sophomores Gabi Koehler and Raven Horton, and junior Georgia Myers—who currently rank first, second, and third in conference batting average. Koehler is tied for first in the conference with 32 stolen bases, while Horton ranks second in RBIs with 24.

The Eagles received a first-round bye in the postseason and will open OHSAA tournament play against McNicholas on Tuesday, May 20, at 5:00 p.m.
