The CHCA Boys Cross Country team concluded their truly historic season in dominant fashion this past Saturday at the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships. The team improved upon their 2024 performance in a tight team battle, securing 4th place overall, the highest finish by a boys cross country team in school history.
Individually:
- Nate Gockerman capped his own historic season by placing 2nd overall in the state. The Juniors blistering time of 15:16 was the sixth-fastest time recorded throughout all divisions at the meet.
- Jagger Dollenemyer made a leap from his 30th-place finish last year, to 8th overall earning First Team All-State Honors.
The podium finishes were supported by a strong team performance. Wyatt Gockerman (26th), Aidan Murphy (60th), and Andrew Lott (141st) rounded out the scoring, solidifying the team's place among the state's elite.

Addison Connor Makes History at OHSAA State XC Championships
Addison Connor proudly represented the Lady Eagles Cross Country team at the OHSAA State XC Championships this past Saturday, becoming the first female cross country athlete from CHCA to compete at the State level since 2021.
Connor's outstanding performance on the State stage provided an inspiring glimpse into the promising future of the Lady Eagles cross country program. With a team comprised of young and highly talented individuals, her achievement sets a new standard for the program.
