"I'm thrilled to bring Ryan back into our community to help lead and shape our Athletics Department. A 2000 graduate of CHCA, Ryan is no stranger to our community. He will lead the day-to-day operations of the department as we continue to strive move Eagle Nation to new heights,"

shares Bryan Fetzer, who was previously CHCA's Executive Director of Athletics and will now shift responsibilities to serve as the Executive Director of Athletic Strategic Development and Advancement.

Betscher was most recently Executive Director of the Sports Complex and Retreat Center at Athletes in Action (AIA), a global sports ministry headquartered in Xenia, Ohio. In his previous role, Ryan led all the sports programming, event execution, and the new residential academy while planning for the John Wooden Family Fieldhouse that will break ground this fall. Betscher also created and launched the Bart Starr Award Youth Camp at Super Bowl LVII in Los Angeles. This past year, the Bart Starr award was given to Russell Wilson and an NFL sanctioned camp was held at the Super Bowl Experience at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This camp impacted over 250 local youth and 30 coaches by teaching them fundamentals of football, proper nutrition, and exercise, and how to be a person of character through team building games and activities.

Prior to AIA, Betscher served for 10 years as COO of Muñoz Agency, a sports marketing firm, focusing on event and program execution with the NFL, MLB, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and several non-profit organizations. During this time, he executed events in every NFL city including AT&T Stadium, Mile High Stadium, Los Angeles Coliseum, Paul Brown Stadium, FedEx Field, University of Phoenix Stadium, and every Super Bowl Experience since 2013.

Betscher launched his career as a market research consultant for Procter & Gamble. He has also served on multiple boards, including CHCA's from 2009-2015, and currently serves on the Board at Faith Bible Church. After graduating from CHCA, he coached football for the CHCA middle school and high school teams from 2008-2012, and we're thrilled to welcome him home!

Ryan lives in Maineville with his wife of 18 years, Allison, and their four kids, Penny (Gr 8), Jack (Gr 5), William (Gr 2), and Carter (Kindergarten) – all who will attend CHCA this year. He enjoys coaching his children's youth sports teams, watching Survivor, volunteering at local charities, and teaching his kids how to golf and fish.
