"This team battled through the adversity of being very young and inexperienced, with several freshman having to start or getting significant varsity minutes. Through the course of games, opponents' physical maturity and more experience would eventually win out, but our kids never stopped battling until the final whistle. Each and every player continued to get better each and every game. Between that growth and our kids' character in never staying down on the mat, the season culminated in a thrilling victory over Norwood in which we had to score two touchdowns in the final 6 minutes to come back and win the game. This victory was a testament to our kids' never giving up on each other, themselves, and their coaches. With great Senior leadership, our team displayed tremendous grit all year long and their toughness was rewarded in that final game. With tremendous youth on this football team, the future is extremely bright as our players mature physically and mentally this offseason."
